Jannat-al-Baqi is an Arabic word, whereas “Jannat” means “garden” and the word Baqi means “alive”. The Jannat-al-Baqi is the cemetery in medina it is on the southern side of Masjid-e-nabi. The Jannat-al-Baqi is also known as “Baqi al-Gharqad”, and also known as “garden of baqi”.

Then shall we await the companion of the cemetery of Makkah, who shall encounter me mid between Makkah and Madinah.”
